INDOOR SWIMMING POOL
Our stunning Indoor Heated Swimming Pool (7.5m X 3m and 1.2m Deep ) is open all year round (Opening times vary). The pool is booked by your group exclusively, so only the members of your party can use the pool.

MULTI SPORTS COURT
Our large Multi Sports Court contains mini-Tennis, Badminton, Basketball and short Football. It's a great area for all the family to enjoy some fun together all year round. The court is booked by your group exclusively, so only the members of you party can use the court. Click on the photo for more information.
UNDER 5's PLAY AREA
Our outside Under 5's Play Area, has a great Castle with slides and is filled with plenty of ride on toys, including Bubble Cars and Tractors. Zoom up and down our road! There is a rocking horse and a Wendy House to keep them busy and to help tire them out.

WOODLAND PICNIC SITE
Our Woodland Picnic Area & Wildlife Area is set within our Farm grounds here at Alkington Grange Barns.
Just a short walk from your Holiday Cottage you will find our beautiful picnic ground, which is a great place to explore and to relax in. We have our own Bug Hotel, which attracts all sorts of Bugs and Beasties, great for the kids to explore. Click on the photo for more information
BIKE STORE & BIKING
Our Indoor Bike Store has plenty of Bike Racks for you to secure your bikes. We don't supply bike locks, though, so please bring your own.
There is some fantastic cycling right outside your door, including the
National Cycle Route No45.

ONSITE BBQ'S
Relax and unwind with your family and friends and BBQ until your hearts content.
We have three brick built BBQ's on site and they are big enough to cook plenty of food for everyone to enjoy!
BIRD WATCHING
Enjoy our peaceful Bird Watching Area, with views the stretch right across into Wales & Cheshire. We have a wide range of birds that occupy the Farm land including Buzzards, Kestrels, Sparrow Hawks, Lapwings, Yellow Hammers, and many more hedgerow birds for your enjoyment. PET FRIENDLY
We have 3 Pet Friendly cottages, Williams's Hayloft Emma's Dairy and our larger cottage, Oliver's Mill. They all welcome one well behaved dog.
These cottages all have enclosed gardens so that your dog is safe and secure. Each barn also has a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs to keep your dog safely downstairs. There are plenty of places to walk locally too. Click on the photo for more information
WALKING
There are some wonderful walks right on your door step with the Shropshire Way and Whixall Walks running straight through the farm. The Shropshire Union Canal is less than a mile from our cottages and is wonderful walking for all the family. In your barn there is a "Walk's Folder", which is filled with maps, leaflets and information about places to walk. Click on the photo for more information.
OAK ACRE AVENUE
Enjoy the fresh country air by taking a walk in our beautiful acre of cut grass lined with aged oak trees. Enjoy a picnic, play tig with the kids or take the dog for a refreshing walk.
STAR GAZING
Set in a Rural Dark Skies location, on a clear night you can see the Big Dipper, The Plough and Mars to name but a few constellations.
With our tranquil Star Gazing Area, situated within the farmland looking due North, why not have a night you'll not forget under the stars!
THE FARM LAND
Alkington Grange Barns is a working farm. You can take walks across many of our fields and the Shropshire Way runs through the farm itself. Throughout the year many farming events take place including grass cutting, silaging, rolling, hedge cutting and other grassland activities. We also have winter sheep .

We offer FREE WIFI for every barn throughout your stay with us.
OFF ROAD PARKING & TWO EV CHARGING POINTS
We have off road parking next to your cottage, please let us know how many spaces you require when you book with us.
Our NEW EV charging point is ready to go and normal charge rates are incurred via a £1 coin metre.

Our larger barns are perfect for a family or friends celebration. With large dining areas, well equipped kitchens to cater for large groups and spacious areas to socialise in.
